These Terms of Service govern your use of Verified Translation Chat. By accessing or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the service.
Service description
Verified Translation Chat is a web application that allows a logged in user to create a conversation session and invite one participant. Participants choose their languages, translate messages, review back-translations, regenerate or edit when needed, and approve messages before they are sent.
AI translation disclaimer
Translations are generated using AI and may not always be perfectly accurate, complete, or appropriate for every context. Users are responsible for reviewing translations and back-translations before approving and sending messages.
Do not rely on the service as the sole source for legal, medical, financial, emergency, or other high-stakes communication.
User responsibilities
You agree not to misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, attack or overload the service, bypass usage limits, share harmful content, or use the service for illegal activity.
Accounts and security
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us as soon as possible.
Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are sold as monthly subscription plans. Each plan may include limits such as translation attempts, regeneration attempts, character limits, and participant limits.
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy and its payment partners. Subscription access may change if a payment fails, a subscription is cancelled, or a billing period ends.
Usage limits
Translation usage may be counted when a user requests a translation. Regeneration usage may be counted when a user requests a regenerated translation. Approved messages may also be tracked for product functionality and usage reporting.
Availability
We aim to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The service may be affected by maintenance, third-party providers, network issues, API limits, or unexpected failures.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Verified Translation Chat is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for losses caused by translation errors, service interruptions, misuse, or third-party service failures.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make changes, we may post the updated Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the service after the updated Terms are posted means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should stop using the service.
